I use these lights while biking through the city of Los Angeles at night. They have worked well for months and do NOT fall off or cause any trouble. Both the white light in the front, and the red light in the rear have separate settings for continuous illumination and flashing. I tend to set them both to the flashing function to better ensure that cars around me, or approaching me, are alerted to my presence. The lights were easy to attach and the charging works quickly: zero issues.

It’s super bright on both ends and hard to miss. Easy to install and rechargeable too. Good buy for the money

These lights are good quality, and it’s great that they are rechargeable rather than battery use. They are bright, and have steady or flashing settings. I have not tried them in the rain, as where I live is dry. The size is perfect for throwing in your bag, and the quality is good. It is a little tricky to get them to loop on to your bike, but you can figure it out!

Riding a bicycle can be a dangerous exercise. I think Reno has the worst reputation for cars running people down even if your on a bicycle. So when I bought my bicycle, I bought the lights too, and I still have close calls. It’s not because the cars don’t see me it’s because they don’t care. The lights are the very best LEDs, rechargeable, multi mode and easy on and off mounting.

This set is great. I only ride in the daylight/dusk and the slow blinking red tail light gives great peace of mind when I’m on the road. I often use a bike trail where there is a significant amount of pedestrians with dogs. I use the fast flashing on the white light which is getting attention of those approaching me faster and folks are moving to the side earlier. That makes the ride so much better.Mounting straps are pretty easy and come with a spare strap each. They hold position well on my bars and post. If you look carefully, the straps are not symmetrical which shows good forethought and attention to detail. The advantage is one can slide the end of the strap with the big gap into the long clip and then affix either of the two available openings on the opposite side of the strap to the open hook-like slot adjacent to the light body – so it should work just as well on narrower handlebars. It would be next level if the light parts could separate from the mount, but it’s not a big deal. I take them off after the ride to help keep the straps stronger. The chargers are working good; and, if you ride regularly and want the benefits of lights on every ride, you want a rechargeable set like this one. You will need a USB port, such as common wall plug adapters. I never plug little devices into a computer, for security reasons maybe I’m overly cautious. The manufacturer included a note to not leave them plugged in, so I’m being intentional about only giving them a short charge before I use them every few rides alternating between lights. The USB port on the light body has a really snug rubber cover which is working great keeping the mist and grime out so far.I would avoid cheaper units selling for less than this set – especially when they have 8 lights. Maybe it makes sense for some, but I think I saw they are not rechargeable they are missing other features and the quality just cannot be the same. This light set are great for visibility, that is, helping people see you. They seem to my eye to be 100 and 80 lum as advertised. But, that is not really to light up your path when high speed road biking at midnight. You would want to add a proper headlight, there are good videos out there. The white light on bright might be enough if you are just cruising slow on quiet straight clean roads. You don’t need to spend a lot to get great visibility. These are easy-to-use rechargeable lights that will fit securely to your bike.

These bike lights worked just like I’d hoped. They aren’t very big, but the lights are bright and there are 4 options. They mount on anywhere with rubber keepers, and you get an extra set in the box. The battery life is good – we’ve had them on at least 4 hours and they didn’t die. Haven’t tried leaving them on longer than that.

If you’re a “serious” cyclist — using your bike nearly every day for sport, touring, or commuting — you’re aware of the huge safety benefit of daytime running lights. Even the most distracted driver can’t help but notice a flashing LED, red if going away from them or white if coming toward. With its tiny form factor, intensely powerful beam, and powered by an equally small but multi-hour rechargable lithium ion battery, I would nominate the LED daytime running light as the greatest advance in cycling safety since the helmet.I’ve owned these things since they first came out. They need regular replacement for the same reason your iPhone lasts only a couple of years — the lithium ion battery wears out and won’t hold a charge. I accept the expenditure of an average of $10 per year as a bargain-priced investment in safety and peace of mind, especially in that most dangerous of cycling environments, city streets. But even with these lights I never assume I will be seen! My flashing white front light is no guarantee the car coming toward me will not suddenly turn left across my path. I watch for the telltale signs — a dip in the oncoming car’s front end as the driver brakes for no apparent reason, a twitch in the steering, the angle of the driver’s head. Never count on oncoming cars using their signal lights! American drivers are among the world’s most undisciplined, and mobile technology has distracted them to the extent that mortality rates are climbing back to the levels of the no-seatbelt, drunk-driving era. We cyclists must be more vigilant then ever before.Old-fashioned bicycle lighting systems were intended to illuminate the road ahead so the rider could see where they were going. I consider urban cycling at night to be too dangerous to contemplate, so have no use for such lights. But most daytime cycling lights — whose sole purpose is to alert other road users to the cyclist’s presence — to an extent emulate the design of the past generation. They’re bigger than they need to be and are often awkward to install and remove. Some even use expendable batteries!Which is why as soon as I came across these lights on Amazon, I knew their designers were on the ball. Their goal was maximum conspicuity in a minimal form factor with reasonable battery life. And, near-instant removal and replacement, essential for battery charging. My 15 lb. Specialized Tarmac carries no non-essential accessories and as a result looks clean and purposeful. A headlight bolted with a metal mounting bracket to its carbon fiber handlebar would look absurd. But (see image) these lights are sufficiently small, and their mounting system is sufficiently flexible, that they fit neatly on my bike’s head tube and seat post. Their compact round lens design is the most efficient way to package each light’s three powerful light-emitting diodes. When off, they’re nearly invisible and so do not clutter the bike’s lines. But when running at my favorite setting, slow blink, they can be seen from a half-mile away. (Slow-blink setting consists of two flashes followed by a brief pause. Compared with evenly spaced flashes, or having the lights on constantly, this staggered-flash approach distinguishes my bike from everything else out there. The eye is attracted by irregularities and staggered-flash is a driver’s eye magnet.)What would I change? In the hand the lights have a solid, even hefty feel. Which is all well and good, but to a weight-weenie sport cyclist like me they come off a little heavy. I’m hoping future versions manage to shave a few grams here and there. At this point I’m confident that when the time comes to replace these, this astute manufacturer will be offering new models that are smaller, lighter, and just as bright. Companies that offer state of the art solutions have a tendency to stay ahead of the pack.
