1. Changes and Updates
To the extent permitted by applicable law, TRIVEL reserves the right to make changes to this policy, which will be communicated to you by email within 30 days of their effective date.
It is the Purchaser’s responsibility to refer to the most up-to-date version of the warranty policy when purchasing an TRIVEL product.
2. Warranty Eligibility
The warranties described herein are only available to the original Purchaser of the TRIVEL product, which purchase must have been made online or in-store directly through TRIVEL or one of its authorized distributors.
The limited warranty, whether registered or unregistered, applies to products that have been purchased in Canada, the United States, the European Union or Oceania. The extended warranty only applies to products that have been purchased in Canada.
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase of the product and ends upon the expiration of the period stipulated herein or when the original Purchaser sells or gives the product to a subsequent Purchaser, whichever occurs first. The warranties described herein are non-transferable.
Exclusion: The Trivel warranty policy does not apply to products sold under the industrial or orthopaedic divisions, which are expressly excluded from the terms of this warranty. However, a legal warranty may apply to some of these products when required by applicable laws.
3. TRIVEL Warranty Types
At TRIVEL, there are three (3) types of warranties: the unregistered limited warranty, the registered limited warranty, and the extended warranty. Please refer to the tables below for the coverage periods and benefits associated with each type of coverage.
The warranties described herein do not affect the consumer’s rights under applicable laws, including the Consumer Protection Act in Quebec. The consumer’s rights may vary depending on the situation and the legislation in force.
3.1. The Unregistered Limited Warranty
When you purchase an TRIVEL bike, tricycle or clothing, the unregistered limited warranty applies by default as described below.

As per its name, the registered limited warranty requires the Purchaser to register the product with TRIVEL, via TRIVEL.com website. By choosing to complete the registration process, you consent to the terms and conditions applicable to the registered limited warranty as described herein. This registration must be done by the Purchaser within 30 days of purchase. As of the 31st day following the date of purchase, it is no longer possible to register for the registered limited warranty and only the non-registered limited warranty will apply, unless the Purchaser elects to purchase the extended warranty in the manner described herein.
3.3. The Extended Warranty
The Purchaser has the option of subscribing to the extended warranty, subject to the applicable fees published on the website TRIVEL.com and acceptance of the terms and conditions that apply thereto. subject of any problem(s) or claim(s).

For all warranty execution and claim procedures concerning TRIVEL products, the Purchaser must contact TRIVEL for an assessment of the problem as soon as the first signs of it are known. The Purchaser will need to provide a valid proof of purchase and a detailed description of the problem encountered. The TRIVEL representative has the discretion at any time to require the Purchaser to provide any additional information relating to the product and its use, including
photos of the product demonstrating the problem, and the Purchaser is then required to provide this information in the manner prescribed by the representative.
