Could not be happier with this recumbent bike. Firstly, it cost roughly 10-20% of a Peleton and the only significant difference is the Peleton’s built in TV screen, which is generally in a workout room anyway where a TV can be found. And I don’t even think Peleton offers recumbent version. Second, Niceday is excellent in every way, even after working on it daily for more than a month. Cons: None, and I usually am fairly critical. Pros: 1) assembly was as straightforward as advertised. The instructions were in perfect English, the illustrations were precise, all the parts fit just right, and even a couple fasteners of each type were included just in case. One part was unused at the end by design, apparently required for security of the product during shipment. 2) it functions exactly as expected. Quiet, smooth, easy to control speed vs resistance. 3) overall quality is amazingly good for the price (or at any price, actually). It is sturdy, solid and attractive. Dollar for dollar I have rarely seen a better product. It exceeds all of my expectations. Wish all the products found online at Amazon or elsewhere were this good.

1. Delivery: Delivered by Amazon and carried up 32 steps by the delivery person! I was very impressed and thankful, as my back is not as tolerant as it once was. Packaging was well done and there were no scrapes/dings/damage to bike. It took around 30 minutes to unpack.2. Assembly: Instructions were detailed and easy to follow. My mechanical skills are somewhat south of neanderthal, but I had it together by myself in about 90 minutes, including bathroom breaks. Two people might have made it easier, but certainly pretty basic assembly, as the major parts – flywheel and frame, came as one piece. All needed tools were included, as were some extra screws and bolts. Parts were all machined to a high degree and holes were all aligned perfectly. This is not a cheap product – it feels and looks very well made.3. Function: Very quiet and smooth. Quite sturdy – not perhaps as much as the $2000 brand name models, but certainly fine for most home users. We have used it on a tiled floor and on a pile carpet. It is more sturdy on the hard floor. As others have noted, the handles are designed to be loose, to allow for ease of access. One criticism I have is the lack of a backlit screen on the display. My wife has vision problems and cannot make out the screen at all. My vision is fine and I can barely see the numbers. We have to use a flashlight to see the screen. Given the advances in technology today, I do not think it is too much to ask for a better lit screen. I bet some 17 year old genius could design an inexpensive battery that would power a backlight and could be recharged from the action of the flywheel – never have to replace the batteries! In fact, you could adapt a charging mechanism similar to the hand-crank chargers available on the internet. That way, you could charge your iPhone/iPad while you work out!4. Health objective: This product will not turn you into a triathlete, but it will fulfill the objective of a non-impact exercise that will give a cardiovascular benefit and burn some calories. Both my wife and I are in our 70’s and have back issues. The recumbent position takes a significant amount of strain off your lower back, that even walking can cause. My back bothered me too much to walk today, but I did just fine on this recumbent bike. Plus, its raining outside and having this bike inside my home is wonderful.

This is for my senior dad. It was similar to what he used at cardiac rehab and they suggested he get one for home. He uses it a lot and really likes it. We assembled it for him — took 2 people about 3 hours. It wasn’t too difficult to assemble (although one piece wasn’t labeled correctly if I recall) but I guess we figured it out since he’s been using the bike for a few months now. It looks nice, it’s sturdy and it works. It rides smoothly and it’s quiet. I’d recommend it if you’re in the market, no regrets at all.

This is a solid, well-built exercise bike and is practically silent. The seat is comfortable. The temporary drawbacks are (1) unpacking this unit – you won’t be able to save the box in the event you need to ship the unit back; (2) also plan on spending 20 minutes unpacking all the pieces from a ton of tape (3) the assembly starts out with having to unbolt a large metal piece (#29) and “placing it aside.” However, by the end of the assembly, that piece hadn’t been used, and nothing in the instructions or the online video says what it’s for. The only long-range drawback is the monitor. It’s far too small and because it isn’t backlit, it’s extremely hard to read. This doesn’t affect me much because I can take my pulse by hand, and I know how long I’m on the bike. Overall, a good exercise bicycle for the money.

Definitely worth the extra money to get this particular model. It checked all the boxes for us, the water bottle holder perfectly fits our coffee thermos in the morning. A place for my cell phone or iPad, the screen cycles through my work out and keeps track of my mileage, etc. The tension adjusts very easily. The bike is absolutely just about silent, a very easy ride, and I’m riding further than I used to on another brand that I had used for almost 20 years. The seat is exceptionally comfortable, adjusts very easily, and the whole unit takes up less space than most. Everything works perfectly, two of us assembled it together in about 35 minutes. The instructions were clear, and everything went fine. It is easy to clean/sanitize, very comfortable, and a great piece of equipment! Would highly recommend, and would definitely buy again, though I think we won’t need to for a very long time.

I bought this recumbent bike to help with my recovery and PT after back surgery. It’s extremely smooth and silent operationally. This is huge! The seat and backrest are comfortable, even leaning back with stitches in my back. It was easy to assemble, it took me about 2 hours total. Very solidly built, stable to ride, and I believe it’s the perfect setup to help me recover, and continue its use afterward.
