Let me tell you I have been trying to find a decent portable chair for a long time. I am short (5’3″) and large. Most chairs are too deep so I don’t reach the back of the chair. This is also true in this one, but I can get back far enough. When I first sat in this chair the X bars in front hit my legs strange. I sat in it for an afternoon and using a pillow felt quite comfortable. Standing from a low chair causes tears in the tendons of my thighs. This chair is a good height. I can take it with me when we travel as chairs in most places are just too low. It is a strong sturdy well made chair.

Very sturdy chair looks to be designed for big people — which I’m not. Seat is VERY wide and legs are very stout making the chair a bit heavier than I prefer. But the comfort and (hopefully) durability make it tolerable.

My husband has had double knee replacements and is 6’6”. He struggles standing from a seated position. This chair is sturdy and taller than the standard size so it works great!

I had problems with hip and knees and have a hard time get up and down. The height is perfect for getting up from sitting. Only thing kinda hard to open and close. Very sturdy and well built, kinda heavy. I would purchase this again…

It is a comfortable chair. It is hard to open and close it. Hopefully it will get easier after I use it more.

Since I’m a big girl, I like having a chair in my car so I’m ready to sit outside comfortably anytime. The only thing I would add to this chair is a foot rest. Other than that, the chair is great and of good quality.
